AN ARTIST’S GHOST:
Art, Exponential Technology, & Embodiment

Artist Talk by Amy Karle
hosted by SuperRare 💎

12 December 2022  |  Online

In this artist talk, Amy Karle shared her art and discussed how she leverages the body + exponential technology (including biotechnology, 3D printing, artificial intelligence A.I., artificial neural networks ANN, brain-computer interfaces BCIs, and blockchain) as tools to generate new possibilities, new ways of creating, and to explore larger questions of the impact of these technologies. She believes that these tools can not only enhance the scope of what we create and collect, but also empower us to continue to create and share even after death.

After the talk, we engaged in a discussion about the ways in which we could creatively use these tools and the potentials and pitfalls that they present.
