Computer Aided Design (CAD) created from reality capture of 3D scanned Elk Vertebra bones in the California Academy of Sciences collection, digital design and generative art; digitally manufactured (3D printed) and hand finished into suspended sculpture referencing elastic collisions / collision balls / “Newton’s cradle”.

Project made with support from Autodesk, Autodesk Pier 9 and the California Academy of Sciences.

Created while Artist in Residence at Autodesk Pier 9.
