ECHOES FROM THE VALLEY OF EXISTENCE

Echoes From the Valley of Existence is an new immersive installation by Amy Karle that delves into the interplay between life and the digital and biological remains that we leave behind.

The interactive artwork enables participants to manifest their bio-digital avatars through digital twin body tracking and provides the opportunity to leave text messages and DNA for an archive that will be launched to the moon, creating a multi-sensory experience that questions the boundaries of existence in a technologically integrated future.

KARLE’S LATEST ART IN FORBES

In her interactive art installation Echoes From the Valley of Existence, Amy Karle collects and sends digital and DNA samples to the moon. This project, merging biotechnology with artistic expression, invites reflection on the legacy of humanity’s biological and digital remnants, provoking contemplation on how future beings might interpret the echoes of our current existence.

CARBIDE SKULL

Amy Karle’s “Carbide Skull” (2022) is a digitally handcrafted sculpture based off of a 3D scan Karle captured of a 200-year-old skull, representing her deep inquiry into the evolution of technology and its interplay with the human body. Utilizing generative design and hand-finished in durable Silicon carbide, this work not only bridges art and technology but also offers a unique perspective on materiality, digital fabrication, the human body.
